Bittersweet
There’s only one more month of school left and while I’m glad classes will be over, I’m really sad that it will be the end of the semester. I’ll be saying goodbye to new friends, and knowing I may never see some of these people ever again makes me sad. It’s crazy how you can become so close to people in such a short period of time, and I don’t want to have to say goodbye to them yet. The people I’ve met are the reasons why I love Korea so much, and spending an entire summer here without them, even though I have family here, will be lonely. So I’m just wishing time would slow down and it wouldn’t end so soon…
But I’m happy right now because Alison is here!! That bunghole called me at 7AM to tell me she had arrived, and I got to see her on Saturday :D We didn’t get to do much since she’s too busy playing with her family for me, but it was nice seeing a familiar face. She says I’ve become “super fobby,” but I’m sure my deteriorating grammatical skills have made that apparent already. I also got a special package from the LFs, which really made my day. I’m kind of regretting choosing to stay in Korea for so long when I can be spending my summer in California with them, but let’s make the most of it!!!
